Harley-Davidson Museum

The Harley-Davidson Museum is set to open to the public on Saturday, 07/12/2008, at 400 Canal Street in Milwaukee, WI USA. I wish I could attend but that would be too long and too expensive of a trip for me right now.
The festivities will kick off at 10 am and visitors to the museum will be able to enjoy things like food, tattoo artists and live music provided by local bands. The museum itself will feature displays of over 400 motorcycles, including bikes owned by Elvis and Evel Knievel as well as the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle ever built, plus exciting virtual interactive displays.
The governor of Wisconsin, James Doyle, is supposed to be on hand for the opening ceremony and Harley-Davidson CEO Jim Ziemer is supposed to celebrate the grand opening by getting his first tattoo. If you plan to attend I hope you’ve already bought your ticket in advance by now!
It is expected that 350,000 people a year will flock to the Harley-Davidson Museum. Maybe someday I’ll be one of them.
If you want more info about it, check out their web site: Harley-Davidson Museum.
